A professional musical theatre performer with a wide variety of experience in singing, dancing and acting.

Forever a performer, I graduated with a first-class musical theatre degree, and have since developed a vast array of experience in the arts alongside a teaching career.

Over the last decade I taught singing and music privately and in schools whilst upholding a full-time music teacher and Head of Performing Arts position in a school for pupils with learning difficulties and disabilities. I am a qualified Vocal Habilitation Practitioner; working with voices to mend and prevent vocie difficulties.

 

I am dedicated to nurturing the talents of others by coaching and directing my pupils, and choirs to create new stars!

Ellie Snowdon

Ellie is a caring, friendly and creative teacher; passionate about helping individuals achieve their goals.  

Ellie is a Children’s TV Presenter and Voice Over Artist having had her own show Ellie Explorer, Ellie works regularly with Nickelodeon on a range of shows including Paw Patrol, Rusty Rivets, Teletubbies and many more. Ellie has performed in a range of professional productions; Snow White, UK Tour of Treasure Island, Peter Pan and Dracula the Musical.  

Ellie trained at The Arden School of Theatre; gaining BA (HONS) Musical Theatre. Ellie has Grade 8 Singing, Grade 8 LAMDA Acting and IDTA Dance qualifications. Ellie is Vocal Health first aid trained and has done her Singing Teacher Training with BAST.  

Ellie works for Headway; teaching and rehabilitating brain injury clients. Ellie teaches a range of subjects including aphasia, logic, art therapy, music, speech and drama, education and sport.  Ellie has delivered music sessions in care homes, hospices and SEN groups.  

Ellie has been teaching for over 9 years in a range of settings with all ages and loves it!  

Rachel barnard

Rachel is a classically trained singer who studied Vocal Performance at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, receiving a 1st Class BMus (Hons), followed by further study at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland for her Masters. Rachel has a wealth of performing experience, having performed in operas and recitals around the country, including with companies such as Waterperry Opera Festival.

 

Singing has always been a source of joy for Rachel and she aims to pass her passion onto her students. Rachel places good vocal technique at the heart of her teaching, to ensure students flourish and realise their full potential. 

Siân Roberts

Siân completed undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Vocal Performance at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Siân has a flourishing performing career alongside her teaching with opera companies including Mid Wales Opera, West Green House, and Opera Project. 

 

Siân is an enthusiastic, bubbly, and friendly teacher who gives her students fun and creative space to learn and explore their musical talents, whilst building confidence and a love of music. Siân teaches students of all ages, coaching students through exams and performances, including a range of genres; Classical, Musical Theatre, and Pop. Siân improves your singing and performing, whether pursuing singing exams, or simply singing for the love of it!

Aliyah Wiggins

Aliyah is a singer, songwriter and music leader from Birmingham who combines her passion for music with her passion for teaching.

 

Since graduating from Birmingham Ormiston Academy in 2020, Aliyah has worked with multiple organisations to deliver music workshops and lessons to various demographics; Welsh National Opera, Music Of Life, Quench Arts, National Memorial Arboretum, Black Voices and more. Aliyah has developed her delivery of music and singing techniques to provide accessible music opportunities to children and adults in a range of community and professional settings. 

 

Through her knowledge, Aliyah inspires students to discover their skills and passion for music.

Ella Machin-Bradbury

Ella is a cellist and pianist, and graduated from the University of Birmingham with an honours degree in Music. 

 

Teaching music in hospital settings across Birmingham, Ella delivers music sessions with a focus on well-being and developing musical skills for young people with a wide range of support and access needs. 

 

With over 6 years experience in the education sector, Ella has taught from ages three to adult in both mainstream and special schools. Ella is currently training to be a music therapist and pulls together all of her teaching and music leading experience to create explorative and student focused music lessons with communication at the heart of her techniques.
